I'm Sehrish Tariq, my love for Science started when I was the only girl in my Science class. It developed because of my teacher who inspired me to pursue Science.

Since then I’ve taken it upon myself to inspire the next generation of Scientists.

As a young Muslim woman growing up, there was barely any representation of someone who looked like me working within the STEM field.

My own teachers had nothing in common with me and were extremely unrelatable so I knew I had to be the one to make a difference to that.

Working as a teacher for the past 4 years has fueled my love for helping others and has been most rewarding seeing students’ faces light up whenever they understand a concept or smash exams they once had no hopes in passing.
